Forget Goals, Set "Questions"

Are you a goal setter? Most people don't even live life with intention enough to begin a goal setting process, other's set goals and quickly give up, loose hope or fail at hitting the goal. Let's take a minute and think a little differently today about our intentions.

First, sit quietly for a minute and close your eyes. Take a deep breathe in, hold it for 10 seconds, then slowly release the breathe. Repeat this process a few more times and while focusing on the exercise think about what you want to accomplish today or in life? What is something that you feel you are struggling with that could use improvement? It may be your weight, a relationship, money, lack of fun, project, child, self-esteem ect. Now that we've got you thinking let's talk about goals. What is blocking you from achieving greatness in this area that you feel you are lacking? Ask yourself...see what comes up.

Do you often hear yourself reciting questions inside your head? Why am I broke? Why can I not loose the weight? Why won't he/she give me the love that I desire? Why can't I have a nicer home? Why am I always falling short? Why am I stuck in this job that I hate? ect. ect. ect You fill in the blank. We are all different and have our own limiting beliefs. When we think and say things like this they are sent out into the universe in a low vibration. But the universe loves us so much that it only gives us what we ask for. It does not understand "can't, don't" it just hears "always falling short". So because it loves us so much it sends us as many things as it can to support and increase what we've asked for. The universe always delivers. If you keep saying "why am I so broke?" The universe will keep showing you ways of why you are so broke. You get discouraged, warn down, angry and feel absolutely helpless. You can't seem to make things change, no matter what you try. Well I want you to start paying attention to your thoughts, feelings and state. Your state is the way you feel at any given time. When you feel your mind racing, flustered, upset, anxious, fearful ect. you are in a low vibration and a negative "state". That state and feeling is a result of your thoughts. The great thing is you have the ability to change your state and feelings whenever you choose. Here is what I do. When I notice this state change and feel upset I remove my self from the environment I am currently in. Go to my bedroom if I am home, close the door, sit quietly for as long as I need. I just sit, close my eyes and allow my self to settle into that uncomfortable feeling. Breathe. Settle. Go inward. You are greater than your concious mind. You are an infinite being capable of anything. So let that part of you take over. Allow the negative thoughts you are feeling to rise. Acknowledge them, name them. What is it, anger, fear, sadness, loneliness? What are you feeling? Why are you feeling it? Once you can put your finger on what it is your feeling know that it's not who you are. It is there because of a belief you have about something. We can change the limiting beliefs but we'll go into more later on this. I just want you to start becoming aware of your feelings and sit with them instead of letting them control you and your day.

So back to creating questions instead of goals....As soon as one of those negative questions comes into your mind I want you to change it to a lofty question. Try this...What kind of person can I become that will amaze the world? Why do I have more money than I need and still have left over to do _________? Why is my life so AMAZING? Why do I succeed at all that I do so easily and effortlessly? What's the million dollar idea I can manifest? Take any limited or negative question you ask yourself often and rewrite it into a lofty positve one. The universe will then send you all that you need to support that question. Let's try that on for size and see what happens.
