Is it worth getting Fat on?


We have to make food choices every day, all day. What we eat is what fuels and shapes our body. If you want a desired physical result you need to choose food choices that match those desires. The beauty of knowing and understanding how IIFYM or Macro counting is that you can still enjoy yummy "treats" that aren't always the best option but with moderation are absolutely ok to eat. My family was having Berry Pie and Icecream Sunday night. I was curious how much I could have to fit my Macros for the day and still stay on target with my goals. The amount of pie I could have was so about 1/4 C. with 1/4 C. icecream. I can eat the pie but it's not really worth it to me in that moment because it is so tiny for all those calories, fat, carbs and sugars. Maybe to someone else that really loves pie it would totally be worth it but I can live without. So I chose to still enjoy a Sunday night treat with the Family but find a better option. I had a chocolate protein shake along with half of a chocolate Skinny Cow icecream sandwich and a little bit of blueberries. It was fantastic to the taste but obviously not fancy. I felt apart of that treat moment and didn't feel bad because I was still on track with my goals.

Now this is not a big deal, I know. I just felt I would share a real life experience that would show how I make food choices all the time and still enjoy my active and healthy lifestyle.

Every thought effects action.

Every action effects results.

Results will either bring Good Feelings or Bad ones.
